This book caught my eye because, well, my name is on it. Definitely not for younger kids but still a good book. Maya’s world is turned upside down when her dad gets kidnapped by the lord of shadows, and the only people that’ll help her are her two best friends, a wannabe ghost hunter and a science nerd. Maya is figuring out that’s a lot of people in her neighborhood are gods, seems crazy? Well anything can happen in a book, that’s the glory of them!
