I really liked this! Eli writes horror stories, Neha draws a fairytale world, and Court is great at getting into and out of trouble. These three kids barely know each other, but Court ends up with one of Neha’s drawings, and there’s something alive in it: a weasel/otter thing named Sleekit. Neha’s fairytale world is called Forest Creeks, and people—that Neha didn’t draw—moved into Forest Creeks. But lately the residents living there, have been being attacked by monsters. Then Court figures it out. The monsters ravaging Forest Creeks are the same monsters out of Eli’s stories. To save the people in Forest Creeks, Neha builds a doorway into the real world. She gets the people out, but what if the monsters get through as well?
