Conceal, Don’t Feel by Jen Calonita

This is pretty good, though it took a little bit for me to get into it. It’s the same author as Flunked and Misfits. This is a fractured fairytale based on Disney’s Frozen. It begs the question, what if Anna and Elsa never knew each other? Princess Elsa has always felt like something’s missing, and now that her coronation has come, the feeling intensifies. But a mishap that leaves the kingdom frozen in ice threatens Elsa’s title as queen…and possibly her life. Anna lives in a small village outside of Arrendele, and she and her parents work in a bakery. When the whole kingdom freezes over, Anna sets out to Arrendelle because she feels as if someone is calling to her, and she doesn’t know who. Anna meets Kristoff and his reindeer Sven. Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and a certain talking snowman journey across Arrendelle, searching for each other and hoping to save the kingdom. Will Elsa be able to defrost the kingdom in time, or will everyone be stuck in eternal winter?
