This is an interesting concept to me. Don’t get me wrong though, great book. In Saintstone, everyone is marked. Tattoos that record their lives story. And when they die, their skin is turned into books (a bit gross, in my opinion), and they get to live on in the afterlife. Leora has never seen the book of someone she’s known…until her father dies. Then she realizes her father had a dangerous mark, one that could change everything. She begins to investigate the Blanks, soulless people without any marks. The Blanks are evil…or so everyone has been taught to believe. Leora must save her father’s book before the truth is uncovered, and he is forgotten.
