This was pretty good, though some things weren’t my favorite. Penny is going to college, and she’s escaping her overbearing mom. Sam lives and works in a cafe. When they meet, it’s…really awkward, to say the least. But they exchange phone numbers and keep in touch without having to meet in person. They talk about the deep stuff, and the silly stuff. Just any stuff. Unbeknownst to the other, they both start falling for each other. Trouble arises when Jude, Sam’s relative and Penny’s roommate find out they’ve been texting, though. I really liked reading about Penny when she was writing. It’s a bit weird that I was more interested in the story she was writing than the actual book I was reading. Anyway, it’s a pretty cutesy romance.
