Heartless Hunter by Kristen Ciccarelli

I kinda loved this, and I will impatiently wait for the sequel. Two years ago, a bloody revolt occurred, and the three witch queens were killed, and anyone suspected of being a witch was stripped naked in the streets to search for the telltale silver casting scars. Rune’s grandmother was one of the witches killed that night. Now, Rune herself is known as the silly socialite who turned in her own grandmother. But by night, Rune is The Crimson Moth, a witch vigilante who saves imprisoned witches. But when a rescue mission goes wrong, Rune will need information, and the best way to get that information is Gideon Sharpe, the captain of the witch hunters. The problem is that Gideon despises Rune and the shallow image she represents. But when Gideon begins to suspect Rune of being the very witch he’s hunting, he decides to give in to her silly flirting in order to prove his theory. Can the two of them manage to get the information they need, or will love get in the way? Surely not, because it’s all just pretend…right?
I really enjoyed this book, and the whole witch/witch hunter romance was super fun.
