This was such a sad, and in the end, hopeful novel in verse. I loved this. Evie has just been diagnosed with anorexia, and immediately admitted into an inpatient treatment facility. She desperately wants to leave, to go home. But her doctors refuse until she’s healthier. Everyday is full of calorie loading and therapy sessions, and while Evie despises these, she’s also made friends there. Friends who will help her and sympathize with her. This follows Evie through the winter she’s in the hospital, where she slowly starts to heal. This is a beautiful story, and I fear my review can’t do it justice.
