Hello friends! I know I haven’t posted in a bit, and I’m hoping to get back into the groove of posting all the things I read. Starting off, we have this adorable middle grade graphic novel about Beetle, a young goblin trying to learn sorcery. Beetle fills her days with magic lessons from her Gran, and visiting her best friend Blob Ghost, a ghost trapped in the local mall. One day, Beetle’s old friend Kat comes back into town. Kat is now a powerful sorcerer, and Beetle thinks Kat’s probably too cool to hang out with her anymore. But Beetle, Kat, and Blob Ghost discover that the mall is going to be torn down, so they have to team up and find a way to save Blob Ghost’s home, or free them from the mall. The art in this is honestly so cute, and the whole book is just so adorably queer. Anyway, read this if you’re looking for a fast paced, cute, supernatural graphic novel.
