Forgive-Me-Not by Mari Costa

Thank you to Netgalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review. This was adorable. I also requested it from Netgalley without realizing it was a graphic novel, but it was a pleasant surprise. Aisling is the beloved princess. She is kind, sweet, demure. She is also—though she doesn’t know this—a changeling, sent to infiltrate the human kingdom. The night before Aisling turns eighteen, a girl named Forget-Me-Not, claiming to be the actual princess breaks into Aisling’s chambers and kidnaps her. Forget-Me-Not plans to take Aisling to the Seelie court, where she will live out her days as a servant. But Aisling’s biological father, an evil faerie, is out to thwart her plans. He wants Aisling as his own servant. She and Forget-Me-Not go on a harrowing journey through the fae lands, and the two girls slowly start to develop feelings for each other. This is a super cute sapphic enemies to lovers story. I loved it! I will say though, the official synopsis says that the love interest’s name is Forgive-Me-Not, like the book title, but in the book it’s Forget-Me-Not. A tad confusing.
