Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone by J. K. Rowling

Finally, I’m posting Harry Potter! Now, I’ve read this book like a zillion times, I just haven’t posted it before. (I know a lot of people have already read this, but I’m still posting it.) Harry Potter is an orphan, so he lives with his horrible aunt and uncle, not to mention his cousin, Dudley. When a letter arrives for Harry, Uncle Vernon takes it before he can read it. Then he burns it. What could be in that letter? More letters start coming, but Harry can’t get any of them. Uncle Vernon takes them on a trip, thinking that the letters can’t follow them, that’d be absurd. The letters follow them. Uncle Vernon takes Harry, Dudley, and Aunt Petunia to a shack in the middle of the ocean. Then a giant comes knocking on the door to give Harry a letter. The letter says that Harry’s a wizard, that he’s famous, and he’s invited to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The giant, Hagrid, takes Harry to Diagon Alley to get his school stuff, like a wand, wizard robes, an owl, all sorts of thing. Then, on the train to Hogwarts, Harry meets Ron Weasley, and they become friends quickly. They meet Hermione Granger, a stuck-up know-it-all. Once at Hogwarts, Harry and Ron fight with Draco Malfoy, the bully of Hogwarts. Harry faces trolls, dragons, a teacher who hates him, and worst of all, Voldemort, a wizard who was thought to be gone. To anyone who hasn’t read this, READ IT NOW. Just remember, the rest of the series gets kinda dark.
