The Maze Runner by James Dashner

This is one of those books that you can’t put down. It’s awesome. Thomas wakes up in the Glade, the area at the center of a giant labyrinth. He has no memories whatsoever, and he’s surrounded by boys who also don’t remember anything. These other kids have been trying to escape the Maze for two years, and haven’t found a way out. The day after Thomas wakes up, a girl arrives. The first girl ever. She delivers the terrifying message that everything is going to change. Thomas feels a strange connection to this girl, even though he can’t remember who she is (not to mention she’s in a coma).
Thomas decides he wants to be a Runner. The Runners are the kids who try to solve the Maze. It’s not an easy job, and it’s no where near safe. The Maze is filled with Grievers, horrifying creatures that are half machine, half living being. Will Thomas be the one to change things for good, or mess everything up incredibly? I guess I really like dystopian books. But the best dystopian book is The Hunger Games. I couldn’t it down either. Anyway, it’s a really good book.
