Go With The Flow by Lily Williams and Karen Schneemann

If anyone is interested in a fun graphic novel, here you go! On the first day of school, three girls take Sasha to the bathroom to tell her that her period has leaked. Sasha is mortified. But as always, the tampon machine is empty. The other three girls, Brit, Christine, and Abby comfort her, but Abby is furious. When she goes to the principal, he tells her that the school can’t afford more tampons and pads. But the football team just got new uniforms and gear. Abby is disgusted that the school is pampering the football team, and not giving girls basic necessities. She rallies her friends, and together they fight for period equity. I also love that this is very inclusive of the LGBTQ+ community. A very good read, for sure!
