The Bone Spindle by Leslie Vedder

This was super good, and I can not wait to see more the characters. Fi is the smartest treasure hunter around, and Shane is an axe wielding, lesbian huntsman for hire (aka pretty awesome). Shane and Fi team up to find an ancient treasure, but instead Fi pricks her finger on a spindle—instead of falling under a cursed sleep, Fi becomes connected to a prince from a hundred years ago. A prince named Briar Rose, who was cursed to sleep until awoken by a kiss. Fi discovers that she must travel to the ruins of the kingdom of Andar and wake the prince. It doesn’t help that Shane seems to be falling for a a mysterious, dangerous witch named Red. Fi, Shane, the spirit of Briar Rose, and occasionally Red travel across the kingdom to reach the cursed Andar. This is a really nice read. Comment and tell me your favorite character(s)!
